Deanna Jeffers, affectionately known as “Dee,” is the founder and creative force behind Custom Art by Dee.

 

From a young age, Deanna’s artistic talent was undeniable—often creating drawings for friends and family and participating in local art competitions. For her, "art is not just a picture, but an outlet for what words cannot describe." What began with simple pencil sketches soon blossomed into a lifelong passion.

During her high school years, Deanna was enrolled in the School of Visual Arts & Careers, where she explored a wide range of artistic styles and mediums—including painting, gesture drawing, abstract art, and realism. This exposure fueled her love for painting and led her to begin creating custom pieces for friends and family, eventually growing into a loyal client base.

As the art world evolved, so did Deanna. She embraced digital art to keep up with modern trends, expanding her work into t-shirt designs, pendant art, and logo creation. Her latest project, the Virgin Islands Activity Book, beautifully showcases the culture and everyday life of the Virgin Islands through engaging activities and coloring pages—merging education with creativity in a fun and meaningful way.
